SOUTH London sensation Skepsis has emerged from a turbulent time with a dynamite new album, Faith In Chaos.
Released in October on the Crucast label, the album shows just how far the self taught producer and bass music maestro has come in a short space of time since he began to rise to prominence a few years ago. Across 15 tracks he outlines his manifesto of genre-busting dance music and it's a long player that does not disappoint.
He's been busy touring since the album first dropped but he's just found time in his busy schedule to sit down with Ash Blewer at The Night Bazaar for their new In Conversation podcast to discuss the making of the album during the lockdown periods over the last couple of years, the reception it has had since it was released, his hectic touring schedule, the meaning behind the name of the album and much more. To listen to Movements Presents The Night Bazaar in conversation with Skepsis head HERE.
Skepsis has also dropped in with a playlist of his current favourite tracks from his DJ Sets and stand out tracks from his new long player.
Listen to the music and read what he had to say about the music in his selection below. Listen to his new album Faith In Chaos HERE.
Skepsis ft. Emily Makis – Tell Me How
One of my personal favourites off my album, was a pleasure to work with such great vocals!
Nubass & Deppz – Knock Knock
Been playing this banger in my sets for a long time now, so dark.
Skepsis & Kanine ft. Takura – Again
Something slightly different from me and my brother Kanine, love closing my sets with this.
Kanine ft. Elipsa – All To Me
Kanine again, he is smashing it at the moment!
Skepsis ft. Scrufizzer – Bumpa
More garage style track from Faith In Chaos, with one of my favourite MCs.
AC Slater & Chris Lorenzo – Fly With Us
One of the biggest bass bangers around, no more needs to be said.
Skepsis & TS7 – Freak
My anthem of last year! Shoutout TS7, we made something great.
Skepsis & Window Kid – Lose My Mind
Another Crucast collaborator, I actually started this track in 2018.
Subsonic – Last Time
Groovy Drum n Bass bop from the talented Subsonic
Sammy Virji & MPH – Get Dumb
Two absolutely amazing producers recently combined to create this banger, so bouncy!
