Coronation Street star Bill Fellows recently told us he’s ‘right in the middle of the storm’ filming a massive storyline as Stu Carpenter and soon, the plot begins to pick up pace.
‘The audience have known for a while that he’s got some sort of criminal record, but no one knows what that is’, the actor explained.
‘When it finally does come out it’s a strong story.’
Before that, the focus is on Stu and his daughter Bridget, someone he hasn’t been in contact with for 15 years.
Stu is furious when he discovers Yasmeen (Shelley King) has found Bridget’s address, but after a chat with Kelly (Millie Gibson), he sees things different and decides to make contact.
Arriving at Bridget’s, a nervous Stu knocks on the door but when she arrives, she panics and orders her dad to leave.
Stu begs her to hear him out and assures her that he never hurt anyone but later, he apologises to Yasmeen for snapping, saying the address she had got wasn’t the right one.
But what is Stu hiding?
Why is Stu so desperate to make Bridget believe he didn’t hurt anyone?
Who could it have been?
So. Many. Questions.
