There’s some huge news for Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and Imran (Charlie de Melo) in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, when they’re asked if they would consider adopting Elsie, the little girl they’ve been fostering.

Toyah isn’t certain. She’d love to be a permanent mum to Elsie, but she isn’t sure that her relationship with Imran is solid enough after Imran revealed that he cheated on her.

The person she decides to talk all this through with is Abi (Sally Carman) – unbeknownst to Toyah, the very person that Imran cheated on her with when he slept with her on the night of Corey’s trial. It’s no wonder that Abi looks distinctly uncomfortable throughout the conversation.

Talking it through helps Toyah to come to a decision, though, and she tells Imran she’s happy to adopt Elsie – but they’ve got to get married first.

Not the most romantic proposal (more of an ultimatum, in fact) – so will Imran agree?

And if he does, will they actually make it as far as saying ‘I do’ with Toyah still in the dark about who Imran cheated on her with?
