Stacey Solomon has confessed that she had already practised her 'gracious loser face' in the run-up to the National Television Awards.
Stacey revealed she had already accepted her fate as she lost out to the late TV legend, Paul O'Grady, who won a posthumous award for his show, For The Love Of Dogs.
Stacey was also up against Clarkston's Farm and The Martin Lewis Money Show Live in the factual entertainment category.
But the Loose Women panellist was anything but bitter, as she admitted that she "couldn't have lost to a better person" after missing out on a prize for her show, Stacey Solomon's Sort Your Life Out.
Going live to her 5.7 million followers after the ceremony with husband Joe Swash, she said: "I didn't win… I'm glad I practised my gracious loser face," before Joe is heard teasing her about having a 'pre-planned speech.'
As Joe joked: "It was a great speech as well, you all missed out on such a special acceptance speech," Stacey quickly quipped: "I didn't even practise my speech, stop… I haven't… I practised my gracious loser face for a long time now.
"And you said I did well… No, do you know what? I love Paul O'Grady and I got to meet Paul O'Grady, I was lucky enough to meet him and he was just the most incredible human so I couldn't have lost to a better person."
She concluded: "And I just wanted to say thank you for all your love and support and votes and everything, erm, it means everything that I just got to go tonight and be nominated, so thank you. And yeah… maybe next year."
On Tuesday evening Stacey channelled her inner Barbie as she stunned on the NTA red carpet wearing a pink crystal corset and tiered tulle skirt from Isabell Kristensen Couture’s new collection.
Flashing her enviable smile, the mum-of-five showed off the stunning gown which had fitted cups and a structured bodice with layers of pale pink tulle that reached the floor.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old opted to style her blonde hair in a glamorous updo with two strands of hair framing her face.
Earlier, the TV personality had documented her hectic morning, having dropped off her kids at school before jumping on her treadmill for a workout.
The likes of The Traitors, Happy Valley, Paul O'Grady: For The Love of Dogs, Gogglebox, and The 1% Club scooped up the gongs at last night's NTA ceremony
Ant and Dec were also ecstatic as they took home yet another gong, winning the Best Presenter award for the 22nd year in a row.
