The Chase's Bradley Walsh tells Shaun Wallace to 'hand his notice in' after shock revelation

THE CHASE fans couldn't help but notice Bradley Walsh's 'dig' at Shaun Wallace during the latest episode of the show.

During the recent celebrity special episode, quizzing expert Shaun -who goes by The Dark Destroyer on the ITV show – stated he had plans that would clash with the show's filming schedule.

The barrister and game show chaser, 61, made it clear that he was keen to attend the Qatar World Cup at the end of the year.

Presenter Bradley, 61, looked less than impressed at the new found information, which came to light during the show.

In the middle of a game, Shaun asked Bradley: "2022 with the World Cup, are you going?"

To which he responded: "No I wouldn't go to Qatar to watch the World Cup, it's going to be too hot".

Shaun then added that the heat wouldn't be a problem, saying: "No, they're going to have it in December. I want to go."

It didn't take long for Bradley to flag what this could possibly mean for the Dark Destoyer.

If the football fan was to go away for the games, he would likely see a conflict with The Chase's filming schedule.

Bradley suggested this could mean the chaser wanted to leave the show for good.

He said: "Well that would be interesting because at the time of year we record The Chase normally, so what you going to do then?

"That's a funny way to hand in your notice in on camera, isn't it?"

He paused for the audience to laugh at the bold statement, before jokingly adding: "Enjoy this moment, it's going to be your last".
