The One Show's Alex Jones was forced to apologise after Lewis Capaldi swore numerous times as he appeared on the show.
As the 26 year old Scottish singer spoke to Alex, 45, and her co-host Roman Kemp, 29, he couldn't keep a swear word far from his mouth as they congratulated him on his new single, Forget Me, reaching number one on the charts.
As he was asked about it, Lewis said: "Yeah, I'm chuffed to b***ery!"
Lewis then went on to talk about the video for the single, which took influence from Wham's 1983 promo for their song Club Tropicana, which Roman's mum Shirley starred in.
Lewis declared: "Your mum was in it and she looked b**** good in it, I have to say that!"
Begging him to stop, Roman said: "Please, please stop!"
As Lewis headed on to perform his song, Alex took a moment to apologise to the viewers of the morning show as she said: "We have got to say a quick sorry about the language. I'm sorry if anyone was offended."
It's not the first time Lewis has gone rogue live on-air, after he left Naga Munchetty shocked after making an X-rated remark live on BBC Breakfast last month.
Lewis was speaking to Naga, 47, and her co-host Charlie Stayt, 60, before he said: "Can I just say, you've got great hair. We were talking about it outside."
Charlie then complimented Lewis on his own hair, before Naga joked: "Would you like a room?"
Lewis took it one step further as he said: "'I thought you said rim," to which Naga looked shocked.
As she concluded the interview, Naga said: "We're going to have a little word with Lewis".
Lewis shared the clip on his Twitter account as he poked fun at himself and wrote: "A classic breakdown in communication."
Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: "Still crying laughing at the Lewis Capaldi interview on BBC Breakfast just now. What a funny guy!"
Another commented: "Jesus there’s no limits with you boy,' whilst a third said: "Best breakfast show ever."
A fourth wrote: "Literally p****d myself laughing , please never change."
Forget Me is Lewis' third UK number one single, after Someone You Loved in 2019 and Before You Go in 2020.
Lewis recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome.
Speaking to The Sun, the star said: "I have been diagnosed with Tourette’s," before admitting he wanted to speak out about it to prevent his fans from thinking he was taking drugs.
“My shoulder twitches when I am excited, happy, nervous or stressed. It is something I am living with," he continued, insisting that it's "not as bad as it looks".
