LIAM Payne has been pictured topless on his balcony in Miami, spending time with a member of his team amid his relationship crisis with Cheryl.

The 24-year-old looked toned and tanned in a pair of long white sports shorts as he spoke to the female staff member who appeared to be smiling and laughing.

Two weeks ago The Sun revealed that his and 34-year-old Cheryl’s relationship was at breaking point and at the times the singer was standing alone he held his phone and looked distracted and concerned.

Liam later returned wearing just a pair of tight black pants and smoked with his phone in his hands, occasionally looking down at it with a frustrated expression and at times appearing lost in his thoughts.

The singer has been in Miami since the end of last week after jetting off the morning after the Brits and skipping spending the night with the mother of his 11-month-old son Bear.

Over the past five days Cheryl and Liam have fought to maintain the façade of a happy relationship and put on a loved-up display at Wednesday’s Brit Awards where Cheryl watched him perform his sexy duet with Rita Ora and even made jokes about their wild sex life.

However insiders told The Sun that things were “strained” behind the scenes.

The source said: "Everyone was staring at them and they were both surrounded by their massive entourages.

"They barely spoke when they were waiting backstage – occasionally, Cheryl would whisper into Liam's ear, but they were mainly speaking to the people around them.”

The Sun also exclusively revealed Cheryl and Liam spent the night apart after the Brits.

Liam headed to a £69-a-night Heathrow hotel despite the home the couple share being just 30 minutes away from the airport after the music bash.

And now as Liam jets back to London, Cheryl has asked her staff to visit estate agents to find her a new home – and is using the same team who helped home her following her split from first husband Ashley Cole.

A source told The Sun: “The search by Cheryl’s employees has been going on for a while.

“They helped Cheryl with her property after she split from Ashley Cole.”

Rita Ora has also been in Miami and while it is unknown whether she and Liam have hung out stateside, they will both be back in London for the Global Awards on Thursday to perform their steamy song for Fifty Shades Freed.
