The TV Choice Awards 2022 shortlist has been announced and Bridgerton is in the lead, with the Netflix drama in the running for three accolades after its well-received second season came out earlier in the year.
The drama is nominated alongside Outlander and Death In Paradise for Best Drama Series.
Jodie Comer is up for Best Actress in Killing Eve and This Is Going To Hurt's Ben Whishaw is hoping for the Best Actor prize. Comedian Jo Brand will host the event, which will take place with an in-person ceremony for the first time since the Covid pandemic began.
Best Entertainment Show nominees are The 1% Club, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Gogglebox/Celebrity Gogglebox and The Graham Norton Show.
ITV's Love Island is up for Best Reality Show but will have to beat Freeze The Fear With Wim Hof, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Pilgrimage: The Road To The Scottish Isles to claim the trophy.
The Best Soap Actor nominees are EastEnders' Max Bowden and Danny Dyer, Emmerdale star Mark Charnock and Coronation Street's Alan Halsall.
And the Best Soap Actress list features EastEnders' Kellie Bright and Gillian Wright, Coronation Street's Sally Carman and Emmerdale's Paige Sandhu.
Awards host Jo Brand said:"'I am, as always, really looking forward to the great evening of The TV Choice Awards 2022. It's always a lively event, and yes, that is a euphemism!"
Voting for the TV Choice Awards shortlist is open until 12am on 19 August. Winners will be announced on Monday 14 November.
