Ali Neeson made a welcome appearance in Coronation Street tonight, but it’s left everyone wondering where he’s been for the last three months?

Where has Ali Neeson been in Coronation Street?
Ali Neeson has been AWOL from our screens for months. In fact, we haven’t see him since he started drinking heavily after killing Ronan Truman.
Ali seemingly was going off the rails as he picked a fight with his sort-of-brother Ryan Connor over Bethany Platt as he boozed to cope with his guilt.
But Ali’s absence hasn’t really been explained – he just hasn’t really been mentioned.
In reality though actor James Burrows – who plays the murderous medic – took some time off from the soap. It was revealed in October 2018 that James was taking some time out from work and wouldn’t be filming again until December.
James said at the time: “I’ve got a little bit of time off from work. I’ve got about a month and a half off. I’m going to chill out a bit and have some time with my family.
“Few holidays. Chilling out, bit of surfing.
“But we’re back in December and I don’t know what they’ve got in store for me.”

It looks like James has got some exciting stuff coming up with his on-screen return coming days after his telly mum Kym Marsh announced she was quitting her role as Michelle Connor.
Fans already have a theory that Michelle will take the blame for killing drug-dealing sociopath Ronan and go to prison.
A viewer commented online: "Wow I'm so shocked, thought she would be in it for life… maybe some sort of affair story as her exit storyline or maybe she takes the blame for Ronan's death to protect Dr Ali?"
