ACTRESS Sayaka Kanda was mostly known for being the voice of Anna in the Japanese version of Disney's Frozen.

Who was Sayaka Kanda?
Born on October 1, 1986, Sayaka's parents are both active in the entertainment industry as well.
Her father is Masaki Kanda, a Japanese actor known for his work in various television programs and films.
Sayaka's mother, Seiko Matsuda, is a Japanese pop singer and songwriter who was one of the most popular artists in Japan throughout the 1980s.
Her first acting role came in 1999, when she starred in a performance of Bean Cake during her time at a school in Los Angeles.
Since her debut, Sayaka appeared in a multitude of plays and movies, also helping her mother with song lyrics.
In 2013, Disney's Frozen was released, and Sayaka was cast as the Japanese language dub for the voice of Princess Anna. She reprised her role in 2019, voicing the princess in the Kingdom Hearts III video game.
Sayaka formed a band with a guitarist named Billy in 2014, but the two disbanded a few years later in 2016.

What was her cause of death?
On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Sayaka was found unconscious on the ground after an apparent fall from a hotel room window.
Hours later, she was declared dead while receiving care at a hospital.
While an exact cause of death is still being determined, police have not ruled out the possibility of suicide.
At the time of her death, Sayaka was appearing in a stage version of My Fair Lady.
She reportedly attended rehearsals on the Friday before her death, but did not show up for her performance on Saturday.
What have people said in regards to Sayaka Kanda's sudden death?
In a statement, Sayaka's agency confirmed the news: "Kanda Sayaka (35 years old) died suddenly at 9:40pm on December 18, 2021," they wrote.
"We are very sorry to give such a report to all the fans who supported us and all the people who took care of us.
"We are still unable to accept her passing and are trying to cope with it," the statement continued.
The voice of Elsa in the Japanese-dubbed version of Frozen, Takako Matsu, said: "The time we spent together is an irreplaceable treasure for me."
"I feel really sad and regretful. She was just getting started and I wish she could have lived longer," Amon Miyamoto, a director who worked with Sayaka, added.
Was Sayaka Kanda married?
In 2017, Sayaka married fellow actor Mitsu Murata. The two divorced years later in 2019.
He has yet to publicly comment on the death of his ex-wife.
