“The production design was incredible – the director was across every single detail – we even had the lighter from The Maltese Falcon but of course it took about 97 takes to get it to work.”

Ant and Dec chat about their new gameshow Limitless Win.

Asked if it is exciting or frightening to be doing their first game show in 10 years they say in unison: “It’s a bit of both.”

Dec then adds: “It is exciting but then you realise you are putting something new out there to be criticised and there so many more ways for people to criticise these days than there were 10 years ago!”

Ricky Gervais

Ricky Gervais is on the show to talk about the third season of After Life.

Talking about the success of his comedy-drama her says: “It is overwhelming. I never thought it would be this big and best part has been the emotional response.”

Asked why there is a third series when he normally only ever does two, he says: “It felt right, there was more scope, and bigger story.

"People always think I am crazy to stop at two but there are always new and exciting things to do.”

Elvis Costello

Tonight's music comes from legendary singer Elvis Costello.

Talking about his younger self and performing on Top of the Pops, he says, tonight: “When we were first on it was so exciting and then we got a little blasé and it became all about getting into the BBC bar and drinking.

"There were a few occasions when we were totally hammered.

"It became a game and eventually we were told off and not invited back!”

Who is Graham Norton?

Graham shot to fame as an actor on 90s sitcom Father Ted.

After that he launched his career as a TV host and has won five Bafta TV Awards for The Graham Norton Show.

He also has his own show on Virgin Radio and is the commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Graham has a staggering wealth of £24 million.

When did The Graham Norton Show start?

The show kicked off back in 2007.

When The Graham Norton Show first started it was on BBC Two.

After proving to be a huge hit, the series was then moved to BBC One in 2009.

Can I apply to be in the audience?

Applications to be on the programme are dealt with through SRO audiences and the form can be found here.

Tickets are limited so you'll have to act fast and you are only allowed four tickets maximum.

Booking always opens a few weeks before the show kicks off and going on the show is free.

Once you register, you will have to pick a date and make a formal application.

You must be 18 years or over to appear in the show's studio audience.
