BBC star's teenage daughter kicked out of boarding school 'after being found in possession of drugs'

THE teenage daughter of a BBC star has been kicked out of boarding school over drugs allegations.

The wayward youngster got into partying over the summer and refused to settle down and study, sources said.

Staff at her £20,000-a-year school are understood to have found her in possession of drugs.

They held Zoom meetings with both parents, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and asked them to collect their girl the next day.

They were then told she was being expelled.

A source said: “The celebrity mum is disappointed and upset as she loved the school and has an incredibly busy work schedule.

“Both parents begged to let her stay but the head has a one strike and you’re out policy.

“It’s a shame as she was popular and bright even if she was distracted by extra-curricular activities. The star had her own issues with partying so doesn’t blame her. She just doesn’t want her to throw her opportunities away.”

The mum, a well-known TV face, is keen to find another school as soon as possible.
