Loved-up Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and girlfriend Lauren Sanchez make it to Cannes Film Festival on their $500m love boat during their Mediterranean odyssey

Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are pictured looking loved-up aboard his $500m superyacht at the weekend at Cannes Film Festival during their Mediterranean odyssey.

Bezos, 59, is pictured on a balcony wearing a black t-shirt, pale blue trousers and a pair of aviator sunglasses. Sanchez, 53, is showing off her toned physique in a white top and cream-colored trousers, and is also sporting shades.

The pair looked very happy and relaxed together as the Emmy-award-winning journalist and helicopter pilot snapped a few quick pictures on her phone.

Other guests on the boat were pictured in their swimwear, soaking up the sun.

During their visit to the South of France, the couple were also pictured holding hands while going for a stroll in casual summer clothes.

The vessel – called Koru – was unveiled in March after five years of construction

Koru sailed in the Balearic Sea last week for the pair’s inaugural vacation on the enormous vessel, where it was moored off the coast of Spanish island Mallorca and the two were seen kissing. 

The Amazon founder wore a pair of pale blue swimming trunks as he stood beside his partner, who was in a pink bikini. 

They were seen lying down on sun loungers before getting up and looking over the railings.

The pair were pictured going for lunch at the Chiringuito Casa Jondal restaurant in Ibiza on Wednesday. 

They had jetted into Europe on his private jet before taking a chopper to the billionaire’s new boat.

Bezos and Sanchez looked to be enjoying their summer break. The pair started started secretly dating the Blue Origin founder in the summer of 2018

The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival has seen Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro reunite to discuss their acclaimed new movie, Killers of the Flower Moon, in their first appearance together at the festival since 1976.

The 417-ft Koru superyacht first departed from Rotterdam in the Netherlands for sea trials in February.

It was first seen under construction in 2021 at Oceano’s yard.

Sanchez began secretly dating the Blue Origin founder in the summer of 2018. Bezos then announced in January 2019 he and his wife Mackenzie were divorcing after 25 years, while Sanchez finalized her split from husband Patrick Whitesell later that year.

The two are enjoying some alone time aboard the Koru superyacht

Bezos has had a wooden sculpture bearing a striking resemblance to Sanchez erected on the prow of the superyacht.

The sculpture has a necklace of the symbol for Koru, Māori for loop or coil, and designed around the spiral shape of an unfurling silver fern frond.

Koru symbolizes a new phase of life and new beginnings, positive change, personal growth, and hope for the future. It is an important symbol of Māori traditions.

Bezos is currently ranked the third richest person in the world with a net worth of $127.4 billion, with Elon Musk second and LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault first.
