Detectives are desperately searching for a man who vanished on a night out in Ipswich almost a week ago.
Julian De Bono was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning wandering down Yarmouth Road towards London Road.
Specialist divers and search teams using kayaks have now been drafted with Suffolk Police giving the nearby River Gipping ‘a much attention as possible’.
The 63-year-old from Ipswich is described as black, about 6ft1in and of a slim build. He has a receding hairline, with a trimmed grey and black beard.
He was last seen wearing a white, partially see-through shirt, with cherry red trousers and high shine black shoes.

CCTV footage documenting the man’s last movements show him being dropped off by a taxi on Lloyd’s Avenue at 12.30am on December 10, walking around the area at 12.37am.
He was then seen walking towards St Matthew’s roundabout before finally being seen on Yarmouth Road walking in the direction of London Road. His final sighting was at 1.55am.
Chief Inspector Richard Burton said: ‘We are extremely concerned for Julian and police activity including searches continue as we attempt to locate him.
‘We have been working with Julian’s family and keeping them up to date with our efforts so far and this will continue.
‘Once again we would ask anyone that has any information, no matter how small you may think it is, to please contact us so that we can look into this further.’
He later told the BBC: ‘We want to give the water as much attention as possible.’
Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue have been helping detectives with house-to-house and CCTV searches, which have taken place in the river and wider area.
Drones and small crafts have been used on the water, while some officers have physically entered the river.
A specialist dive team is due to arrive today to provide specialist support.
Anyone who has information should contact Suffolk Police or 101. Anyone with CCTV or video doorbells in the Yarmouth Area should also contact officers.
