They say dogs and their owners often look alike.

And it’s never been more true than at an annual pet awards in Moscow where dozens of glamorous contestants and their beloved humans compete for the crown.

Well-preened humans held up their dainty teacup puppies for the camera as they demonstrated their dazzling dogs’ finest angles at the Federation Tower of the Moscow International Business Centre.

The judges were met with a flurry of pink bows, blow-dried coats and bejewelled collars at the 2021 Golden Pet Awards on Tuesday.

Stunning women were photographed with their equally beautiful pooches as they fought for the coveted first place title.

And the sweet dogs appeared every bit as proud of their appearance as their owners as they posed with their heads up high.
