A mixed-breed pup who is half pitbull and half Golden Retriever has captivated the hearts of people all over the internet who say he looks like a lion.
The video was shared on TikTok in March by the dog’s owner and features the pup – named Kopper – enjoying some snuggles from his owner.
The now-viral video was captioned: ‘What a half pitbull half Golden Retriever looks like,’ followed by the label, ‘Majestic boi.’
According to the website Alpha Paw, a Golden Retriever-pitbull mix would make a great family dog, and are super sweet and friendly.

Users said wrote in to compliment the fluffy pup’s look, writing that he ‘looks like he’s wearing a lion costume,’ and ‘like he gives the best cuddles.’
One user, Toni, wrote: ‘Legit looks like the lion from Wizard of Oz,’ while another said, ‘Half pitbull, half Golden Retriever, but 100% good boy.’

Newsweek reported that Dr. Christine Barton, a veterinarian said mixing dog breeds can potentially complicate the anatomy of a dog, especially when mixing a smaller breed with a larger one.
But complications can also include ‘congenital, as well as genetic, disorders.’
‘These two breeds in particular are known for having sensitive skin and joint tissues. Pitbulls are more likely to have cancers such as mast cell tumors than retrievers, who are more likely to have lymphoma,’ she said.

There have been several heartbreaking incidents in recent years of untrained dogs mauling toddlers, as well as adults.
