HOLIDAYMAKERS have been stranded at Butlin's after a storm flooded the resort with "dirty water".
South west England was hit by a month's worth of rain at the weekend – swamping the roads around the Butlin's site in Minehead, Somerset.
The pool, buffet restaurant, Centre Stage and some rooms at the site will be closed until Thursday.
Guests were marooned at the resort for several hours during the storm, with clips on social media showing inches of water pooling outside rooms.
One holidaymaker told SomersetLive: "We are currently still on the resort staying in a flooded room which had two inches of dirty waste rainwater.
"Totally understandable that no one can control the weather – but we had another night's stay at the resort.

"It was not possible to leave the resort due to the extreme weather conditions with the roads closed and public transport cancelled."
Another customer said that guests were offered a £25 voucher to rebook their stay.
But they claimed many were left fuming when they found out they would have to cover the difference if they chose pricier dates.
The Sun understands that Butlin's drafted in extra staff to help relocate guests from flooded rooms.

Butlin's also reportedly extended its contact centre hours, offered moves to all guests in flooded rooms and rejigged its entertainment schedule.
Taking to Facebook, Butlin's superfan Suzy Andrews said: "You can tell that there are a lot of exhausted people working but they’re pushing forward with what they can.
"The rain was absolutely ridiculous – yeah, we should be used to it.
"But that amount of rain in such a short space of time is going to cause damage.
"Our friends have had to leave a day early because they were flooded out.
"It’s a shame but it is what it is, they can’t move people into accommodation they don’t have.
"Good luck with the clean up, and thank you for such a great weekend."
Butlin's said: "We experienced exceptional rainfall across our Minehead resort on Sunday.
"We brought in extra team to help guests who worked quickly to reaccommodate every unit that had been flooded and we had an overwhelmingly positive response on resort.
"We communicated with guests via digital screens and SMS to keep them updated and managed to continue with a full entertainment schedule.
"Due to several important venues being impacted by the weather, we took the difficult decision to close for this week’s family break.
