I dropped out of school aged 17… months later I made my first million and now I'm RETIRED aged 22 – here's how I did it | The Sun

A SCHOOL drop out who retired at the age of 22 has told of how he amassed his fortune from nothing.

Lamborghini-driving Hayden Bowles set up several businesses in his late teens which he says are worth millions, and now he gets to sit back and reap the benefits.

In a recent video on his TikTok channel, the business influencer claims that at 17-years-old he was making a "substantial" income of £200k and by age 20 this had had quadrupled to £800k.

Now, he says that his e-commerce focused businesses have done over £16million in sales, which has allowed him to retire at only 22.

Hayden travels the world, flies in private jets, buys property on private islands and even shipped his Lamborghini 2000 miles to sit in his old school's car park.

"I still work, I love to work but I am technically retired," Hayden explains. "It continued to grow and we added new branches to the company".

Part of his success, he says, has been investing his profits into a real estate portfolio. "That money pays me passively" and "does support my lifestyle".

That leaves the profits from his businesses to be invested back into them, or for Hayden to use as disposable income.

The part-time business coach also tells viewers: "Remember, wealth is a ratio between your income and expenses it's not just a flat number".

In another video, he explains the key to success is trying "to have a singular focus".

He advises his over 100k followers to avoid splitting your attention between multiple ventures and focus on "something scalable that you want to do long-term."

The self-professed millionaire also has some not very relatable guidance on buying exotic cars.

"Before you go buy that exotic car and congrats you made the money to go buy a Lambo or whatever, make sure you buy a rental property or two.

"And this is the rule that I set up when I was 18 or 19 that for every car I wanted I had to buy a property and I bought a lot of cars."

He warns: "But definitely make sure you are focused on increasing your income… that will give you the biggest returns in the long term."

After dropping out of school at 17, the American TikTok creator says he doesn't regret missing out on the "crazy" experience of university.

Instead, he tells viewers: "it's the same exact experience – all the stupidity of college but you take it up like 20 levels further because everyone has money".

The stakes are higher, he explains, "so instead of a practical joke where I throw a pie on your face it involves a private jet and there's 10,000 behind it and you're hiring people to help you pull of a prank."

One of these so-called pranks included taking his Lamborghini across the country to return to the place he grew up and sit in his "dream car in the empty parking lot of my old school".

Returning to the place the entrepreneur says he was bullied with his luxury car left him "almost in tears as I just felt blissful just sitting there".
