A SURPRISED Scotsman has shared his expletive-filled video that appeared to capture a glowing red UFO flying above him.
Keiran Farrell was waiting for a bus when he spotted the ball of light floating in the sky above the Dunfermline Abbey on Tuesday night.
The 26-year-old quickly whipped out his phone, recording the eerie object while at the abbey.
He said: "I saw this weird object floating in the sky.
"I looked up and 20 seconds later I realised it was hovering, at first I thought it was a plane flying directly towards me. So I took the phone out to see if I could capture it."
Describing the sighting, he said: "It looks like a big glowing red ball, flashing and hovering still. It starts moving in weird directions, it shoots off and flying off."
He said he posted the 56-second clip to social media to see what other people thought.
He said: "I posted it on Facebook to see what others thought it was, some people are saying it might be a drone, others think it’s something unexplainable and I said I don’t know what it is."

But the young man said he did not want to brand the object as a UFO because he didn't want to sound crazy.
The sous chef said: "I don’t want to slap brands on it because I don’t want to sound crazy but I do know I’ve never seen anything like it."
Keiran can be heard on the video to say: "You can see where we are but directly above it is this weird f***ing flashing thing.
"It's moving off in weird directions – look how fast that f***er is. Holy f***."
Giving a running commentary of the object, the young man can then be heard saying: "It's just hovering, oh it's on the move again, it's on the move.
"That's going fast as f***."
The clip has since been viewed on 20,000 times in just two days.
