A VIOLENT thug who left his victim brain-damaged has boasted prison is like being on “holiday”.
Kevin Dunn, jailed for ten years for GBH, also bragged on Facebook that “time flies when you are having fun”.
The brute told Facebook friends he had been enjoying TV soaps during his time inside, despite the use of social media being banned across UK prisons.
The post said: "Going to jump on me perch chill and watch the soaps, the joys of being a naughty boy. HMP."
He inmate also bragged he only had three years left of his sentence at Dovegate Prison, Staffs – suggesting he would serve a half sentence for the GBH with intent.
Dunn, 27, attacked Mark Morton, 34, outside a shop in South Shields, South Tyneside, in 2015.
The thug kicked, punched and stamped on the victim with such force eyewitnesses did not think he would survive the attack.
Morton spent three weeks in a coma after undergoing emergency surgery for a bleed on the brain and is now unable to live independently.

Newcastle Crown Court handed Dunn a 10 year and 38 week sentence behind bars.
Dovegate Prison, Staffs, is probing the posts.
Deputy director Sarah Tiffin said: “Prisoners are not allowed to use social media and we have a zero tolerance approach to anyone who does so.”
