A MAN was shocked to find a Hermes driver trying to open his front door to drop off a parcel.
The driver was caught on CCTV pulling on the man's door handle as he delivered his package in Flintshire, Wales, on Friday.
The 51-year-old resident, who did not wish to be named, said he was in his bathroom when he heard a knock on the door.
He then heard his door handle being pulled "immediately" after and rushed to see who was trying to get in, North Wales Live reports.
The man said: "I just think it's unusual.
"The Hermes delivery man pulled outside my house with a parcel, he walked up the drive, knocked the door and then immediately pulled on the handle.
"I just ran from the bathroom and stuck my head out of a window to tell him to leave the parcel by the door.
"The other thing is that he had his hood up. I personally wouldn't turn up to someone's house with my hood up because it could look like you're trying to hide your identity."

The man said he complained to Hermes who told him the driver thought he had a porch and was trying to leave the parcel in it.
However, the house does not have a porch, with the door opening straight onto the living room.
He added: "Even if I did have a porch, I wouldn't want people letting themselves in anyway."
A spokesperson for Hermes said: “We have raised this with the local team who have spoken to the courier involved.
"This was a genuine mistake as the courier believed it was a porch – we will ensure it won't happen again.”
