Meghan Markle's Twitter troll has profile suspended after mocking up pic of her as Cheddar Man with Prince Harry

A US politician who sparked outrage by trolling Meghan Markle on Twitter has had his account suspended.

Republican Congressional candidate Paul Nehlen tweeted an image of Prince Harry's fiancée mocked up as Cheddar Man late last night.

The sick image – which The Sun Online is refusing to show – featured the recreated face of the dark-skinned Stone Age Brit superimposed on her engagement photo.

A caption with it read: "Honey, does this tie make my face look pale?"

Meghan's Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams blasted in response: "You're a sad and sick man with no sense of shame or class."

The actor, who played her on-screen lover Mike Ross, added: "Get a life. And don't go anywhere near MM – she's got more power, strength, honor and compassion in her fingernail than you'll ever know in this lifetime.

"Way above your weight class"

Twitter users lined up to condemn Nehlen, who refused to delete the shocking image.
One fumed: "I'm hoping someone kicks your a**…. Literally. What a coward you are."

Another urged Twitter to ban him, saying: "This is so offensive and racist."

Trump-supporting Nehlen is running to replace US speaker Paul Ryan in his Wisconsin congressional district.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace declined to comment.

Meghan, who is mixed-race, has received a torrent of racially-motivated abuse since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry.
