NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea canceled two radio appearances Tuesday morning, days after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The top cop was slated for two interviews, one on 1010 WINS at 7:45 a.m. and the other on WCBS at 8:15 a.m. Both were called off, authorities said.

“His voice was sore,” a police official told The Post.

A police source clarified that Shea’s throat was sore from talking too much.

Shea did appear on NY1 Monday morning, describing his symptoms, including “the chills, the aches,” as similar to a “bad flu.”

“The breathing is the one that you’ve got to be careful with,” Shea said. “I’m listening to the doctors, taking it easy, recovering at home and looking forward to getting back to work soon.”

The deadly bug has sickened thousands of officers and led to the death of 46 uniformed cops and civilians members of the force.

Shea’s diagnosis was announced on Friday.
