A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed to death in a knife 'murder' as cops launch a probe.

The 16-year-old was killed following a fatal stabbing in East London.


Police were called to reports of a stabbing on Friday, May 5 at an address in Waltham Forest.

Officers along with London Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

A 16-year-old boy was found with stab injuries, yet despite the efforts of emergency services he sadly died at the scene at 4:39pm.

A crime scene, road closures and cordons remain in place.

At this early stage there has been no arrest.

Chief Superintendent Simon Crick leading North East Command said: "I am totally devastated at the loss of a young man’s life on our streets.

"My deepest sympathy and thoughts are with the victim’s family at this tragic time.

"I, like many others, care passionately about our communities and I know this awful loss of life will reverberate far and wide.
