Shocking moment woman is pinned to the ground by robber who steals her necklace as shocked witnesses give chase

THIS is the shocking moment a woman is pinned to the ground by a robber on the street who then yanks her necklace from her neck.

The horrific daylight theft left the victim floundering on the pavement as brave witnesses chased the man after the ordeal in Southall, West London


Footage show the pair strolling towards each other on the pavement – before the woman is suddenly grabbed by her arm.

She is then shoved to the floor and held down while the man rips off her necklace.

After grabbing her jewellery, the thief can be seen running away as three others in hi-vis jackets chase him.

A car then pulls over to the side of the road after the terrifying ordeal on Allenby Road.

The video was shared on the UB1UB2 Twitter page and captioned: "Violent robbery in Southall, West London yesterday. 

"A lady was pinned down and her necklace was stolen (Allenby Road, UB1).'

The Twitter page added: "Unfortunately he managed to get away from the scene. 

"If you have any information, call the police referencing CAD 3765. This happened Tuesday 22nd June, 12:48pm."




The Met Police have been approached for a statement.

Just yesterday, former England cricket star Kevin Pietersen shared horror CCTV footage of thugs attacking an elderly man in broad daylight – with Piers Morgan branding them “scum”.

Distressing images show two men approach the innocent man in Chelsea, West London, at around 8pm last night before pinning him to the ground.

Pietersen tweeted: “Burton Court in Chelsea last night at 8pm. These thugs need locking up! Disgraceful!!!!!”

Morgan then replied: “Absolutely disgusting. If you know who these scum are, contact @metpoliceuk ASAP.”

In the footage, one of the men can be seen putting his arm on the victim’s left shoulder before he instantly turns round in shock.

In just a matter of seconds a second man joins in to help wrestle the man to the ground in shocking scenes which left many of the pair’s combined 12million Twitter followers furious.

They can be seen tussling with the man on the ground for around 15 seconds before sprinting off in the same direction they came from.
