Tributes have been paid to a teen whose body has been found after going missing on Tuesday.
Chester Police confirmed that a body found in a wooded area near Ravenscroft yesterday was that of missing teenager Imogen Tothill, 17.
Ms Tothill, from Holmes Chapel, was reported missing on February 8 after she failed to return home, which was said to be ‘totally out of character for her’ by police.
A statement from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive & Sixth Form, which Ms Tothill attended, said: ‘This is obviously the most tragic news.

‘Imogen was a much-loved and respected member of our school community and her loss will be felt by so many students and teachers.
‘Our most heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Imogen’s family and friends. We will offer whatever help and support possible.’Anyone who wishes to leave floral tributes in memory of Imogen are welcome to do so outside of the main school reception.’
Imogen’s friends posted messages on social media in reaction to the tragic news.
One commented: ‘I knew this day would come… I just wish it wasn’t so soon’. The woman later described Ms Tothill as like a sister.

She added: ‘When I said you deserve the world, I meant you were the world to me, and I would give it all away for you.
‘You had so much to give and so little time to show everyone.’
