UK's most expensive parking space costs £350,000 – the same price as a new four-bed home

BRITAIN’S costliest parking spot is for sale at £350,000 — the price of a new four-bed detached home in West Yorkshire.

The 20ft long bay is in Knightsbridge in West London where one-bed apartments can fetch £5.5million.

The plot, at Kingston House South in Ennismore Gardens, is on a long lease, has a grille to deter vandals, a garage porter and CCTV, says the estate agent.

It would cost £1,649 a month on a 25-year mortgage at 3.92 per cent, if you put down £35,000.

For the same £350,000, buyers could land a large family home in the sought-after village of Greetland near Halifax, West Yorks.

The house sales literature says: “The property itself has been finished off to a high spec with oak veneered fire doors throughout.

“All light fittings and sockets in chrome along with modern bathrooms.

"Externally there is a wonderful garden to the front which leads to a side lawn garden.”

It also comes with a drive and carport — which together have room for four cars.
