Where is Amanda Knox now?

AMANDA Knox spent almost four years in an Italian prison following her murder conviction of her roommate and fellow exchange student Meredith Kercher in 2007.

Knox was convicted and sentenced to 26-years in prison; however, her sentence was overturned after known burglar Rudy Guede was arrested shortly after and found guilty of Kercher's murder.

Where is Amanda Knox now?

After spending almost four years in an Italian prison, Knox returned to Seattle, where she grew up and lived before her conviction.

Since being acquitted of murder charges, the 34-year-old has been working with the Innocence Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to putting an end to wrongful convictions.

Knox was the keynote speaker at a conference about criminal justice hosted by the Innocence Project in Italy in June 2019, her first time back in the country since being released.

In addition to her work with the Innocence Project, Knox is a journalist and author of a memoir titled, Waiting to Be Heard, released in 2013.

In December 2017, Facebook Watch announced that Knox would be hosting the show, The Scarlet Letter Reports, produced by Vice Media on its service.

Is Amanda Knox married?

In November 2018, Knox married novelist Christopher Robinson.

The couple had a space-themed wedding in Washington state.

Knox had her hair tied up at her intergalactic-themed wedding and wore a whimsical yellow princess gown with white sleeves.

Her guests embraced the wedding theme in true spirit, wearing fancy dress costumes including warriors, captains and princesses.

Knox and Robinson first met when she reviewed her future husband's novel for a local magazine.

Robinson has been a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Fellowship, the Colorado Prize for Poetry and the Yale Younger Poets Prize.

The pair dated for three years and announced their engagement in a video posted on social media.

Does Amanda Knox have any children?

On October 22, 2021, Amanda Knox revealed she gave birth to a baby girl with husband Chris Robinson.

The two have named the baby girl Eureka. Eureka will be Amanda Knox's first child.

Amanda posted a picture to her Instagram page of her holding her newborn with the baby's face facing away from the camera. She captioned it:

"Since my exoneration, I've struggled to reclaim my identity and protect the people I love from being exploited as tabloid content. It's not easy, and I often feel like I'm trying to invent good choices out of a bad whole cloth. I know that I cannot 100% protect my daughter from the kind of treatment I've suffered, but I'm doing the best I can. Which is why this will be the only picture of her I will ever share on social media. I'm so grateful to everyone who has wished @emceecarbon and I well on our journey to parenthood. Thank you for believing in us."

Amanda first announced the news of her pregnancy in an August episode of her podcast Labryinth. The announcement came just weeks after Amanda revealed she had previously suffered a miscarriage.

In an audio clip towards the end of the most recent episode of Labyrinth, Knox is heard looking at a pregnancy test, hoping for "three bars".

However, upon seeing the positive sign, she could be heard repeatedly shouting "yes."

"Thank goodness; we did it!" Knox exclaimed.

Knox and her husband Robinson then revealed that they are launching a new "mini-series" to talk about their journey.

"That's right, we're pregnant, and we've been recording audio of our own experience since day one. Stay tuned for our next mini-series, 280 days, where we take you on an intimate journey from conception to birth."

It comes just one month after Knox revealed that she suffered a devastating miscarriage, detailing the horror of inducing a painful birth after her baby's death.

She tweeted: "Season 2 of Labyrinths premieres today with episode 1 of a 5-part miniseries on infertility. In today’s episode, I bare my soul about my recent miscarriage."

Knox said: "We sat with the miscarriage for a while trying and failing to be ok. It didn’t have a heartbeat.

"We thought it was a straight line from unprotected sex to baby. It was abdominal pain like I have not experienced before. I was shaking."

Knox added: "I thought I knew exactly what I want to do with my first pregnancy and have it not come to fruition, not through choice, felt like a betrayal.

"Do I have bad eggs? Am I too old? Did something happen to me while I was in Italy?

"You remain haunted by the life that never was.

"As soon as I learned it wasn’t alive, I tried to divorce those two ideas in my head, that was not my baby, it doesn’t have a name.

"It was just your baby for that amount of time, we already had a baby it was just only six weeks old, whose that baby? I don’t know that baby, I don’t think I ever will."
