Billions of dollars in federal funding will be pulled from 80 road and rail planned projects across the country, in a broad review of the nation’s 10-year infrastructure pipeline.
Among the defunded projects is the long-anticipated fast rail to Geelong, a rail line extension past Frankston and improvements to the M80 Ring Road.
