A ton of country music’s names, both big and small, are gathering this week for the annual Country Music Television (CMT) Music Awards. On June 9, 2021, the ceremony will see artists winning a whole slew of awards voted on by fans across the country. Among the attendees this year is singer Hailey Whitter, a singer-songwriter who has been active in the industry since 2015 but really found her lane to fame in 2020. 

Whitters’ debut album, “Black Sheep,” released in 2015, but it wouldn’t see a successor until 2020’s “The Dream” (via Hailey Whitter’s website). In those five years, the singer-songwriter took time to develop her craft more than she had before the release of “Black Sheep.” According to her website, Whitter spent more than 10 years trying to make a name for herself in the music industry but just couldn’t break through. As she’s a rising name in the country scene, the 2021 deluxe version of “The Dream” was cleverly titled “Living the Dream.”

Hailey Whitters has a few years of experience in the music industry under her belt now, and she’s beginning to grow a brand and name for herself. Because of this, her net worth is on a parallel rise with her. The Shueyville, Iowa native, per Married Biography, moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue music full time, where she worked with massive names such as Little Big Town. 

Since the release of her debut album in 2015, Whitters has reportedly accrued a net worth of $500,000, per Married Biography. This worth includes her liquid assets, her property, and her royalties. Because of this, her big collaborations undoubtedly helped her establish her current funds. We can also assume that a lot of it has been built since the release of “The Dream,” as this is the album that catapulted her into the country spotlight.

Ultimately, Whitters’ star is on the rise, and she’s one of the handful of artists that are pushing the country genre forward into new directions.
