The youngest daughter of Lionel Richie says that she is ‘finally in a place where [she] can breathe’ after tying the knot with the British record executive in April.

AceShowbiz –Sofia Richie loves being a wife. While gushing over her marriage to Elliot Grainge in the latest episode of Vogue’s “24 Hours With” series, the model declared that she’s “obsessed” with her husband.

“I feel so relaxed,” the 24-year-old said in the clip. “I feel like I’m finally in a place where I can breathe and just relax with my husband. Being married is the best.”

“I’m obsessed with Elliot,” the youngest daughter of singer Lionel Richie went on raving. “When we’re together, it’s just calm and quiet.”

Elliot also made an appearance in the video, joining Sofia and her pals for dinner. The social media personality then sat on his lap, saying, “I said I feel much calmer… Now that our wedding stuff is over.” In response, the British record executive replied, “I would agree with that.”

Sofia and Elliot tied the knot in April at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, in front of family and friends. She was walked down the aisle by her father Lionel, while her groom was joined by his parents by his side.

Of the nuptials, Lionel said it was a very emotional occasion. He told Entertainment Tonight, “I mean, I was crying. It was a great ceremony. I love that it was one of those moments I will never, ever forget.”

The 73-year-old music legend said he “didn’t have to vet” his son-in-law before the 29-year-old married his daughter because he’s known him for many years. He said, “This is [my] baby girl. All I can say to you is, for every dad that’s ever been this way or getting ready to experience it, it is a humbling time in your life.”

“Because you’re handing one of the loves of your life away. But really, I’ll tell you a story, I’ve known Elliot since he was nine,” the musician continued. “So interestingly enough, I didn’t have to vet the kid. I know who he is!”
