Ronnie Turner’s wife Afida Turner has said her beloved spouse died following a battle with cancer, which ravaged his health in just three weeks. On Friday night, she spoke out about his death on Instagram, where she gave the middle finger to the disease.

The media personality described him as “a terrific musician and bass player” and an “amazing soul” alongside a picture of him and his late dad Ike Turner.

She went on to say Ronnie got sick “in three weeks”, adding: “F**k cancer.”

According to TMZ, the musician was found struggling to breathe outside his Los Angeles home on Thursday morning.

His neighbours are said to have made an effort to revive him with CPR, but were unsuccessful.

In view of her 837,000 followers, she wrote: “Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son.”
