TOWIE’s Elliott Wright’s Marbella restaurant Olivia’s La Cala destroyed in devastating fire

Elliott Wright has devastatingly announced that his Marbella restaurant Olivia's La Cala has been destroyed in a fire.

The 41 year old took to Instagram to share the horrendous news with his 643,000 followers, just weeks after tragically losing his dad to coronavirus.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Elliott shared a photograph of the exterior of the restaurant completely blackened, with debris strewn where the eatery stood and spilling out on the road as a "Bomberos" (firefighters) tape is wrapped outside the building.

Mark Wright's cousin wrote alongside the upload: "So I will get this out there as no doubt this news will spread fast…

"Unfortunately it's with regret that @olivias_la_cala had a fire in the early hours of this morning… it's too soon to say why, all that matters is it has.

"More importantly in life you get tested.. it's been a very testing couple of years.. especially recently.. but if you know me, you know I will rise from this..

"I will rebuild it big and better then before.. I will never be beaten," the brave star vowed.


Elliott's cousin Jessica Wright was amongst the first to comment on the post, writing: "Love you."

She continued in a second comment: "If anyone can come out of this even better it's YOU! It will be even more amazing."

His former TOWIE co-star James 'Arg' Argent wrote: "Love you so much Elliot, If there's one man that can turn this around it's you! We will be back & better than ever."

Elliott heartbreakingly announced his dad, Eddie, had passed away after a battle with coronavirus just last month.

He once again took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of his dad and paid tribute to his idol.

He wrote: "It is with heart wrenching regret, that I have to post this post, my father Edward George Wright passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the 02.03.2021 after bravely fighting Covid for 8 weeks…

"For those who knew my father, you know what a great man he was, always smiling, always humble, always happy, despite the fact in his later years he bravely fought prostrate cancer, he never moaned and done his best to put a brave smile on..

His love for his family is what he will be remembered to all of us, the ultimate family man, wanting to spend every woken minute with his 10 grandkids and children was his only daily thought pattern and request, was to be with them, the ultimate family man," he shared.

He continued: "For those who don't know me well, the impact this has had on me, what can I say, I'm simply devastated."
