Why Succession star Sarah Snook has been called ‘the nicest celebrity EVER’ following run-in with an Indian restaurant in Melbourne
Fans know Sarah Snook as the ball-breaking Shiv Roy in HBO’s hit series Succession.
But the Adelaide-born actress couldn’t be any further from her scheming on-screen character in real life.
This week, the 35-year-old was praised as one of the ‘loveliest’ and most ‘down to earth’ celebrities ever after she visited an Indian restaurant in Melbourne’s East Brunswick.
Speaking to the Herald Sun, head chef Hari Ram-Soni called Snook ‘the nicest person I have met in my life’.
‘She was just so normal and like an ordinary person that we didn’t realise who she was at first …she was the least movie star type person you can imagine,’ he gushed.

The award-winning actress was dressed for the chilly Melbourne weather in T-shirt, black puffer-jacket and pink tracksuit pants.
She matched the outfit with a black baseball cap and a pair of heavy lace-up boots.
Wearing her famous red hair out, Sarah went makeup free.
The restaurant owners later posted the photos to their Facebook and each of the snaps showed a smiling Sarah beaming from ear-to-ear.
It comes after the mother-of-one was nominated for Best Actress for an Emmy Award for her role in Succession, which was announced earlier this month.

She welcomed her first child with husband, Dave Lawson, in May.
The star made the announcement on Instagram as she penned an emotional tribute to Succession.
She posted a photo of her and her new baby sitting in front of the TV, ready to watch the finale, which aired at the end of May.
In the caption she wrote: ‘I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life. And now, my life has changed again.’
