The interior whizz Magdalena posts her home hacks and DIY tutorials to her TikTok account ‘experimentingwithdecor’.
One of her most recent videos if for a DIY backsplash that will save you paying out for expensive wallpaper.
And it’s super simple.
Magdalena added her video to TikTok with the caption ‘I've had this “backsplash” for a couple of years and it still looks so good!’

In the video we see Magdalena using a white marker pen to draw around a stencil on her wall, creating a unique "inexpensive backsplash" design.
This bold, white pattern looks fabulous on her black painted wall.
This stencil designed DIY wallpaper appears to be in a wash room – behind a washing machine and tumble dryer.
It’s simple but effective and completely brings the room to life.
And not only does her design look great, she’s saved herself hundreds of pounds on expensive wallpaper.
Magdalena hopes to “bring you budget friendly home decor ideas to elevate your space” and which this DIY job, she has certainly done just that.
She said: “This look is my fav!!”
At the time of writing, just six days after the video was uploaded to TikTok, it has quickly racked up 3.2million views.
It has 147.3k likes, 206 comments and 2,954 shares.
Many TikTok users were seriously impressed with Magdalena’s DIY job and took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “I’m literally going to do this to my laundry room tomorrow. You are awesome!”
