We are still reeling over the Duchess of Cambridge‘s incredible birthday portraits that celebrated her 40th. How utterly sensational did she look? We’re obsessed with the three stunning shots that featured the wife of Prince William wearing arguably her favourite label, Alexander McQueen.
The dress that caught our eye the most was the red asymmetric satin gown she donned, complete with an off-the-shoulder neckline and dramatic balloon sleeve. How could we not love it? It’s in HELLO’s signature shade, right?

We’ve found not one, but two dramatic styles that look super similar to the McQueen masterpiece. And what’s more, they are both under £100. Fabulous, aren’t they?
Kate looked stunning in her Alexander McQueen birthday dress
Kate’s dazzling pictures were taken at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in November. As well as the red-hot frock, Kate was also seen in two black and white shots, one smiling into the camera, wearing a floaty, ruffled white gown and with her hair styled in soft curls.

Another pic saw Kate posing in another flowing, off-the-shoulder gown and wearing diamond and pearl earrings that belonged to Diana, Princess of Wales, her late mother-in-law. She also wears a three-strand pearl bracelet, also thought to be Diana’s. How special. Photographer Paolo Roversi was commissioned following a conversation between Kate and the National Portrait Gallery, of which she has been patron since 2012.
