AMAZON Prime Day is underway, but it is not too late to take part and snap up some massive deals.

Prime Day deals are kicking off on October 11, but can only be accessed by Amazon Prime members.

Prime Day is the massive global one day flash sale from the online giant.

For the duration, thousands of items will be discounted across all categories, ranging from tech to fashion on the Amazon site.

This year shoppers are spoilt, with two Prime Days taking place and hundreds of Prime Day deals.

The first set took place this July, 12 and 13 with incredible savings like the Echo Show 5, which was on sale for its lowest ever price, and the Fire TV stick reduced to £12.99.

The next Prime Day will take place on October 11, so mark that date in your diary now.

How to sign up for Amazon Prime for free?

To sign up for Amazon Prime in time for Prime Day 2022, just visit amazon.co.uk/primeday.

You can sign up using the 30-day free trial if you have never joined before.

If you change your mind or just want to get access to Prime Day, just ensure you cancel before the 30 days are up, or you'll be eligible for the £7.99 monthly fee.

If you've previously been a member you can reactivate your subscription ahead of the sale.

What is Amazon Prime and how much does it cost?

Amazon Prime is a premium subscription service from the online giant.

It provides users with access to Prime Video streaming content, free same or one-day delivery and other perks for Kindle and grocery services.

Amazon Prime costs £7.99 a month or £79 a year, you can sign up here.

Student can also sign up for a discounted price of £3.99 a month, or £39 a year.

How to cancel an Amazon Prime trial

If you've recently started an Amazon Prime trial, you'll need to cancel the service before the 30 days expire, otherwise you'll be charged the monthly fee.

To do this, go to "Manage Your Prime Membership" when you're logged into Amazon.

Then select click "Cancel free trial" on the left-hand side of the page if you want to cancel right now.

Alternatively, at this stage you can select "Do not continue".

In this scenario, you'll receive access to Prime until your free trial period ends, at which point your membership will cancel and your payment card won't be charged.

How to cancel a paid-for Amazon Prime subscription

If you pay for Amazon Prime, you can cancel the service by going to "Manage Your Prime Membership" when logged into Amazon.

The click "End membership", on the left-hand side of the page.
