Another major supermarket confirms all 400 stores will close on Boxing Day to give staff time off | The Sun

A MAJOR supermarket is closing all 400 stores for two days at Christmas to give staff time off to spend with friends and loved ones.

Marks and Spencer has revealed to The Sun all its sites will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year.

However, all its stores will be open between December 18 and December 22, from 6am until 10pm.

Meanwhile, the retailer said a number of its stores will be open until 10pm on December 23 and 4pm on Christmas Eve.

You should check out your local branch for its specific opening hours. You can do this with the retailer's store locator tool on its website.

It comes after a number of other retailers announced they will be closing their doors on Boxing Day.
