Who got shot at the end of last week’s Holby City? Rogue ‘cop’ Remi (Philip Correia) walked into the ward to get his former girlfriend, Kian (Ramin Karimloo)’s drug dealer Sarah-Jane (Rosa Escoda) – and Nicky (Belinda Owusu) saw him shoot at an unseen person.
We pick up the action tonight right from the moment the gun was fired, and find a tense situation on Darwin. As Nicky raises the alarm, Chloe (Amy Lennox), Kian and Jac (Rosie Marcel) are literally locked into a room with the gunman. With at least one person with life-threatening injuries, the others battle to keep everyone alive and to outwit the gunman.
And when one person tries to play the hero, they risk making the situation a lot worse. When the pressure is on, who can be trusted and relied on? Loyalties are tested to the limit as the team realise they may not make it out alive. Whatever happens, Darwin will be changed forever.
As the rest of the hospital is locked down, Cameron (Nick Jackman) also finds himself in a tricky situation. He and Jeong-Soo (Chan Woo Lim) are in the middle of operating on Jude (Lianne Harvey), the woman with pancreatitis from last week. But when things start going wrong and an urgent CT consultation is needed, Cameron decides to ring Nicky for her help.
She’s in the middle of an armed siege situation on Darwin, but typically of Cameron that’s the least of his worries. Will Nicky help him to save Jude’s life? Or will everyone see that Cameron is not as clever as he tries to make out?
Meanwhile Donna (Jaye Jacobs), Dominic (David Ames) and Alex (Miles Mitchell) deal with a racist patient, and Donna’s attitude to Alex continues to warm. And Dominic is getting a lot of attention from his dating app.
