Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter North is as opinionated as her dad when it comes to fashion.

Kardashian recently revealed that her 8-year-old often “complains” about her style choices, proving that all kids are embarrassed by their parents — even if their mom happens to be one of the most famous women in the world.

“North is very opinionated when it comes to what I’m wearing. She’ll always complain when I’m wearing too much black,” Kardashian, 41, said during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference Tuesday.

“I showed up at her school on Valentine’s Day wearing head-to-toe pink, and she got so excited she ran over and hugged me,” the reality star recalled. “[Of course] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and says, ‘Mom, you’re still wearing black.’”

It’s surprising that North isn’t a fan of all-noir outfits, as Kardashian previously called her a “full-on goth girl,” telling Ellen DeGeneres, “She’s into Hot Topic, she puts fake tattoos on her face and she listens to Black Sabbath.”

North’s tastes are so discerning, in fact, that her mom said she sometimes has to drive her to school in a separate car from her siblings, because “she wants her own music, she wants her own vibe.”

The mother/daughter duo even recently recorded a TikTok video to the Machine Gun Kelly song “Emo Girl,” complete with black lipstick and heavy eyeliner.

The Skims founder shares North and her other children Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2, with ex West, 44.

It’s unclear if North has any opinions on how her mom’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, dresses.
