Mariah Carey is ending her professional relationship with Jay-Z on a high note — despite recent rumors of their “blazing row.“
Bringing claims of contention between her and the rapper-turned-Roc Nation frontman to a screeching halt, the 51-year-old “Honey” hitmaker took to Twitter blowing the whistle on reports that they nearly came to blows.
“The only ‘explosive’ situation I’d ever ‘get into’ with [Jay-Z] is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song ‘Heartbreaker,’” Carey tweeted Monday — referring to her and Jay’s 1999 platinum track.
The R&B boomer’s declaration of dedication to Jay-Z, 51, comes just days after The Sun alleged that she ended her deal with his Roc Nation management company after a heated exchange concerning the future of her career.
“Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all,” an alleged insider told the outlet on Friday.
“She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation,” the anonymous tattler claimed. “She will formally depart in the next few weeks.”
But Carey — who knighted Jay-Z the overseer of her vocal vocation in 2017 after a messy parting of ways with her ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov — is simply shaking off the “lies” about issues between her and Beyoncé’s husband on social media.
“To the people who make up these lies I say ‘Poof! —Vamoose, sonofa*****”!” she tweeted, quoting a famous line from Jay’s 2001 chart-topper, “Izzo (H.O.V.A.).”
Meanwhile, an insider familiar with the alleged beef between the two told The Post there is “not a shred of fact” to The Sun’s original report.
“This story is completely made up,” the source said. “The relationship with Roc Nation ended amicably and Mariah and Jay-Z are on great terms. She’s now represented by Range where her former Roc Nation manager is a Managing Partner.”
Roc Nation did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for a comment.
