CHRISTIAN PULISIC has revealed the heartwarming reason behind his ‘worm’ celebration for the USA.
Chelsea’s wing wizard netted a stunning hat-trick in his country’s 5-1 win against Panama yesterday.
And Pulisic’s side are now on the brink of sealing their spot at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
After netting his second goal of the night, Pulisic proceeded to celebrate by getting down on the floor to perform the ‘worm’ movement.
And he has now revealed why he chose to do the iconic celebration.
Pulisic was introduced to a 15-year-old USA fan on Saturday who had been diagnosed with bone cancer.

Teammate Jesus Ferreira added: “I had no idea that was going to happen. When it happened, I was surprised but excited.
“I’ll rate it like a solid eight. Can’t give him a 10 because he didn’t go back down.”
Paul Arriola also said: “I probably give him a five just for flexibility.
“He could have been a little more flexible but I can’t do that, so who am I to judge?”
Pulisic opened the scoring against Panama from the spot in the 17th minute before Arriola and Ferreira put the USA 3-0 up.
