UFC legend Khabib offers Jake Paul a fight on his MMA show as he tells YouTuber EFC's 'doors always open for you'

KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV has offered Jake Paul the opportunity to fight in his mixed martial arts promotion.

YouTuber turned boxer Paul is currently eyeing a switch to MMA following his brutal KO of former UFC welterweight champ Tyron Woodley.

Paul, 25, recently relayed his eagerness to compete in the sport to UFC supremo Dana White, which prompted an offer from Eagle FC chief Nurmagomedov.

In response to Paul's tweet, Nurmagomedov wrote: "The doors of @EagleFightClub always open for you and your team."

Problem Child Paul recently teased a transition to MMA by sharing a video of himself practising leg kicks on social media.

And on Friday night, he told White: "When I make my MMA debut, I could cut 20 pounds & do it at Welterweight / 170 pounds.

"That’s what all UFC fighters do and many have destroyed their bodies & minds doing it.

"But I’m gonna do it at Middleweight (185). Health first.

"PS Conor [McGregor] walking around at 190[lbs]."

MMA mogul White has refused to rule out the possibility of Paul one day fighting in the UFC octagon.

He told The Nelk Boys: "I don’t know. I don’t think that would ever happen, but listen – I never say never anymore.

"You know, I didn’t think Floyd and Conor, or that I would end up doing any of my guys against Floyd.

"Because that just makes absolutely no sense.”

Since retiring from MMA in October 2020, Nurmagomedov has focused his efforts on growing his Russia-based promotion.

The Eagle has signed a host of ex-UFC fighters, including former lightweight title challenger and light-heavyweight champ Rashad Evans.

Eagle Fighting Championship will host its inaugural American show in Miami next week, with a showdown between kickboxing ace Tyrone Spong and MMA vet Sergei Kharitonov headlining the show.
