BBC Breakfast fans swooned over 'sexy' Carol Kirkwood as she rocked a 'stunning' little black dress on todays show.

Carol, 62, was back on the programme to give the latest weather updates, while Jon Kay and Sally Nugent presented the news and features.

Carol is usually a fan of a printed garment or something colourful, but she kept things simple and classic today with a black capped sleeved dress.

The fabric clung to her curves and BBC Breakfast fans were quick to compliment her on her "sexy" look.

One wrote on Twitter: "good morning carol you sexy lady have a wonderful day."

Earlier this week it was Carol's co-star Sally, 52, who received the compliments about her ensemble.

The presenter wore a pretty pink and navy patterned dress which featured cropped sleeves and a short hemline.

She wore it with a pair of thick black tights and heels and BBC Breakfast viewers were quick to praise her ensemble.
