Samaritans offer advice to help loneliness
Coronation Street star Luke Delaney has been left heartbroken as he opened up about his friend’s death.
The actor, who played Dave Fairchild in the ITV soap, took to social media earlier this week to share a snap of him alongside ‘big bro’ Niel Currey.
In the tribute post, Luke’s followers also got to see a short video of his late friend with two drinks in his hands doing a small dance and enjoying a night out.
Captioning the post, Luke detailed being told about Neil’s death in the morning by his partner.
He wrote: “Babe, I’ve got some sad news… It’s your friend, Neil. The first words I heard this morning.

“And I just knew. How is it that in that moment, we know?
“But in the moments leading up to it, you can have absolutely no idea what someone is going through.”
In the poignant post, Luke expressed his friend had “demons” and detailed how much he’d be missed.
He continued: “I don’t think I was ever in a room with you where you weren’t smiling, being a joker and making people laugh.”

It wasn’t long before Luke’s followers flocked to the comments to pay their respects and send their condolences.
Neil was a renowned bodybuilder, who died at the age of 34.
It’s not yet known how the former Mr. Olympia competitor died.
His former coach Milos Sarcev took to social media on Tuesday to pay tribute to Neil saying: “I am lost for words and filled with pain and sadness.
“My sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. RIP Neil and God bless your soul.’”
