Next week on EastEnders, Zack tries to remain hopeful as he and Whitney head to the hospital to find out the results of their CVS test.

But after some words of encouragement from Sharon, he heads to the hospital to support Whitney.

Over the next few days, a devastated Whitney pushes her loved ones away.

After a heart-to-heart with Eve, Zack knows he needs to be there for Whitney and reassures her that she is not to blame for their baby’s diagnosis.

Elsewhere, due to a change in schedule, Nish tells Suki that their marriage blessing ceremony has been brought forward to Thursday.

Suki tries to stall by insisting that it’s too short notice, but Nish pushes forward with re-arranging the day.

Later, the tap in the Panesar home breaks and Suki is forced to call Mitch for help.

Mitch and Suki confide about the stresses of family life, and Suki offers Mitch a permanent job as a handy man for their tenants.

Nish watches on in a jealous rage from across the Square as Mitch leaves No.41.

With the help of a loan, Stacey and Eve re-open the bap van to raise some much needed cash.

But when Nish asks Eve to pick up Suki’s wedding outfit, she obliges and leaves Stacey fuming when she is left to serve their customers single-handedly.

After some harsh words with Eve, an enraged Stacey heads to the Minute Mart and threatens to reveal all if Suki doesn’t start treating Eve with respect.

At the Minute Mart, Nish invites Honey to the marriage blessing, leaving her and Suki feeling awkward.

Later at The Vic, a jealous Nish makes an ominous call to Ravi after Mitch accidentally reveals he has been helping Suki with their tenants.

Nish invites Eve and the Slaters to the marriage blessing ceremony, leaving Eve unsure what to do.

Later, at Walford East, Suki overhears Nish and Ravi talking about Mitch, and the pair erupt into a furious row.

Suki nervously reassures Nish that he is the only man for her.

Later, Eve arrives at the Panesar’s in a last attempt to win over Suki, but their argument is cut short when they hear the front door slam.

Who was it and what did they hear?

On the day of the marriage blessing, Suki is paranoid about who was eavesdropping on her conversation with Eve.

As Eve struggles to deal with her feelings she decides to attend the marriage blessing anyway – much to Suki’s horror

Across the square, guilty Denise seduces Jack after a tense run-in with Ravi at the Minute Mart.

She is soon shocked to learn that Jack is investigating Ravi when she sees a picture of him on Jack’s laptop.

Denise starts to panic that her actions may be exposed.

Denise and Jack are later horrified to learn that Amy overheard Ravi’s promiscuous behaviour whilst at Nugget’s house.

Jack rages about the example being set to his daughter and heads to have words with Ravi, but Denise quickly interjects and offers to speak to Ravi instead.

At Walford East, Denise is left more worried than ever when a smug Ravi assures her that their secret is safe.

Elsewhere, Howie is delighted when Denzel is shortlisted for ‘The Walford Young Writers Competition’ and takes him and Nugget for a celebratory breakfast at the café.

Later, an embarrassed Denzel reveals to Nugget that he took the story from a TV show he watched with Amy and fears he’ll be exposed during his upcoming interview with the Walford Gazette.

Howie’s pride for Denzel quickly diminishes as his lies are revealed during his interview.

In an attempt to save face in front of the journalist, Howie goes along with the false narrative.

This leads Denzel to overpromise an additional interview with his grandparents, who he claims are the inspiration for his story.

Howie and Rocky enlist the help of Patrick and Vi to act as Denzel’s grandparents for the Walford Gazette.

Patrick and Vi are an instant success with the Walford Gazette and the reporter is so impressed by their fake love story that she insists on a follow up interview.
