EastEnders: Suki Panesar flirts with Peter Beale
Suki (played by Balvinder Sopal) hasn’t had a love interest since she arrived on EastEnders over a year ago but it seems she has set her sights on Peter (Dayle Hudson). After the heartthrob failed to win over her daughter, Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), the youngster spoke with the mother-of-four about being rejected. As the chemistry sizzled between the pair, BBC viewers were shocked to discover they were going to sleep together. However, could this all result in life-changing repercussions as the feisty matriarch realises she’s pregnant with her toyboy’s child?
After Suki interrupted a flirty conversation between Peter and her daughter, who had tried to begin a party at the call centre, the heartthrob was the last one to leave the premises.
The matriarch seemed surprised when she picked up his wallet which contained a condom, to which the youngster remarked: “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, am I right?”
“So, like my daughter then, do you?” the mother-of-four asked, with Peter dismayed his charms weren’t working on Ash.
“She has a very high opinion of herself, that one, even for a mother it grates,” the feisty character told Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) son.
Noticing Suki seemed to be upset, the youngster asked her if she had a tough day and that’s when she revealed she’d been on a date.

When Peter smirked, the mother-of-four told him: “What? It doesn’t dry up after 40, you know?” to which he asked her how it went.
“Well, I’m sat here talking to you instead of lying under him,” the matriarch said, leaving the heartthrob flustered.
“More fool him because personally, I can see exactly where Ash gets her looks from and her mouth,” the father-of-one replied.
Suki then made a comment to suggest the pair were going to have sex but could Peter have forgotten to use his condom in the heat of the moment?

Recent years have shown some characters who thought their days of being a parent were over find out they are expecting again.
Last year, 50-year-old Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) discovered she was pregnant following an affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Although Suki is somewhat older and despite the fact she already has four grown-up children, she could find out she will have to embody her maternal instincts once more.
However, with one child of his own already, will Peter run for the hills if he discovers he’s going to be a father again?

Furthermore, how will Ash react if she finds out the man she has been innocently flirting with has got her mother pregnant?
For weeks, there has been a spark between Suki’s daughter and Peter, despite the fact the former is in a relationship with Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra).
In Tuesday’s episode, viewers watched as the doctor did everything in her power to resist kissing the handsome heartthrob.
Leaving him in suspense once again after they were told to leave the call centre, could Ash have set in motion an irreversible sequence of events?
Taking to Twitter, viewers commented on the unlikely pairing as one fan wrote: “I was not expecting Suki and Peter #EastEnders.”
Another added: “I may be crazy but I’m actually interested in Peter and Suki. She’s a very attractive woman but she may have an ulterior motive. #EastEnders.”
Whilst a third commented: “Suki and Peter? That could be the strange affair of the year #EastEnders,” a fourth shared: “Wait…Suki and Peter? What the hell did I just watch? #EastEnders.”
“I really need to see something else from Suki. As much as I adore her scheming and ruthlessness, I want some emotion, nuance, something that will make us understand why she is the way she is. #EastEnders,” a fifth remarked, so could a baby show viewers a different side to the feisty character?
EastEnders continues Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One.
