Emma Willis fumes at husband before he’s dealt cruel blow on ITV cooking show

    Emma Willis was left shouting “oi” at her husband Matt Willis after she made a brutal dig about his culinary skills.

    Hit ITV show Cooking with the Stars returned for its third series on Tuesday (July 4) with Emma, 47 and comedian Tom Allen back at the helm.

    And the celebs on this year’s line-up include the likes of Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon, Peter Andre, and none other than Emma’s hubby Matt.

    But things seemed to take an awkward turn in the latest episode when the couple, who tied the knot back in 2008, made several cheeky digs at each other.

    “When you are at home cooking with the family, whose food do the kids prefer? Yours or Emma's? “ co-host Tom asked.

    Matt, who shares three kids – Isabelle, 13, Ace, 11, and Trixie, seven – with Emma, replied: “Well, they eat more of mine…”

    But the admission didn’t go down well with Emma who jokingly heckled him from across the ITV studio and shouted “oi.”

    Matt then teased: “I am a bit more of a pushover than Emma, I just give them what they want.

    "Emma's the bad cop."

    Not having it, Emma fired shots back and snapped: "I am, it's because I have four children, not three."

    Tom then attempted to move on, after Matt claimed he was “wounded” by Emma’s dig.

    Unfortunately, Matt found himself in the dreaded cook-off after the judges picked Samia’s dish as the best.

    He then had to battle it out with Peter before the mentors decided who to keep in the competition.

    Ultimately, they preferred Pete’s dish meaning Matt was booted from the show.

    It marks the second TV project the loved-up couple have appeared on together.

    This year, Matt started in a powerful BBC documentary that detailed his issues with drug addiction and the effect it had on his and Emma's marriage.

    Matt, who shot to fame as a member of boyband in the 2000s, first became sober in 2008 – the same year he married Emma.

    However, he relapsed several times, including after they welcomed their children.
