Tonight, a family is ripped apart as the dead body of murdered teen Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) is found after she was killed by Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) in Emmerdale.

In the wake of Leanna’s death, the village is going to be rocked to the core. Liam’s (Jonny McPherson) world falls apart when Leanna’s body is discovered on the rocks below the bridge tonight and as he breaks down over the loss, Meena tries to keep her poker face but is she actually taking a sick pleasure from the grief she has caused? 

Meanwhile, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) is just as shattered, but will he notice that Meena has taken the ring he gave to Leanna?

Beating himself up with regret, Jacob and Liam could well clash over what is best for Leanna’s farewell. 

As ever, Meena determines to have David (Matthew Wolfenden) all to herself and focus on their relationship but as he will inevitably turn his attention to a grieving Jacob, everything may have backfired for the unhinged serial killer.

Will she be forced to strike again? 

It’s clear how far Meena is prepared to go to get what she wants and remove any obstacles heartlessly and without remorse.

It seems inevitable that more lives are at risk as she remains in the village. 

Can Meena keep her crimes under warps and maintain a facade?

Can Jacob and Liam do what’s best for Leanna? And who will provide unlikely support for Liam in his time of need?
