Emmerdale’s Mimi Slinger is dating singer and Strictly Come Dancing star HRVY, according to reports.

The actress portrayed Leanna Cavanagh on the ITV soap for three years, making her final appearance in June.

She is said to have met HRVY at the NTAs last month, with a source claiming they are ‘head over heels’.

‘HRVY and Mimi are completely loved up,’ they said.

‘After HRVY performed at the NTAs he met Mimi and they hit it off.

‘Things are pretty serious between them. They both know each other’s families and their friends have met.’

‘HRVY and Mimi have a real connection and those around them think they could go the distance because of what a good match they are.’

The source told The Sun that Mimi and HRVY have a lot in common, what with Mimi being an actor and a model.

‘They’re keeping their relationship off social media for the minute but it won’t be long until they’re Instagram official,’ they added.

HRVY is said to have dated EastEnders actress Maisie Smith last year – after they competed in the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing – but they reportedly ‘split’ in March.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Mimi and HRVY’s reps for comment.

Mimi, 18, left Emmerdale in July, with her character Leanna falling victim to crazed killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).

Meena was determined to cover her tracks after Leanna discovered the role she had to play in the death of best mate Nadine Butler.

The killer therefore resolved to murder the teen, and thus chased her through the eponymous village, before pushing her from a bridge to her death.

Emmerdale is currently in the middle of a huge week as part of ITV’s Super Soap Week, which will reportedly culminate in another demise.
